​Sustainable development has become a strategic imperative for food companies. At the same time, the ageing population and the need for an adapted food offer are major challenges.
How can sustainability objectives be reconciled with the specific needs of senior citizens in terms of nutrition, food texture and long-term health?
During this round-table discussion, we will highlight concrete examples, in particular the integration of alternative proteins, especially plant proteins, into the diets of senior citizens. We will also look at innovative technologies and processes that combine respect for the environment with meeting the needs of senior citizens.
This round-table discussion will enable you to identify best practices and avenues for future work, based on recent research and inspiring case studies.
